Adriana Lopez is Director of Communications at Prosperity Denver Fund. She previously served as the Marketing and Communications Director at Denver Human Services and in that role she led the city’s communications for the newcomer response. Before that, Adriana worked at University of Denver’s College of Education, supporting first-generation students like herself. She also served as Senior Manager of Digital Communications at Denver Public Schools, where she advocated for language justice and made information accessible to students, families and team members. She worked at the district during the last teacher strike and superintendent’s community engagement tour.
In addition, Adriana was a Denver Kids mentor for four years. She is inspired by the positivity of kids and families and believes everyone deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential. As a former Denver kid, she is dedicated to making the city more inclusive and supportive for all.
