Vallerie Bustamante

Vallerie Bustamante is a young, Latina organizer dedicated to dismantling oppressive systems and building inclusive opportunities, especially for students of color. With lived experience and formal education, she ensures marginalized voices are heard in policy and decision-making spaces. As Digital Organizing Manager at Stand for Children Colorado, Co-Chair of the Latine Education Advisory Council for Denver Public Schools, and Communications Chair for ACCESO, an advisory committee that serves the Denver Clerk and Recorder on voter outreach for Spanish-speaking communities, Vallerie fosters coalitions, cultivates leadership, and drives change for educational equity. Committed to systemic change, she advocates for opportunities and equity for historically underserved students and families. Fluent in English and Spanish, she builds bridges between communities, policymakers, and educators to reshape education for future generations.
